As expected there is a heightened interest
in AMI, Intelligent/Smart Grid, Smart House and improved
metering technologies for water, gas and electric meters.
The consequences of all these “Smart” infrastructures
will be felt in data management, standards and policies,
regulations and of course most of all with customers and
the environment. The Conference will cover all these areas
and more.
This is the largest speaking program of
any Utility Metering Conference in Australia’s history;
with 35 presentations, plus a Workshop on Standards, a Panel
Session on Regulations and a Water Technologies Demonstration
Session. Awards and give-aways, Cocktail Parties and of
course the MMI Conference Dinner will entertain delegates
and ensure a congenial atmosphere for advanced networking
with the who’s who in the utility metering industry.
Speakers and Panel members include Rick Stevens from Hydro
One in Canada who will have implemented about 1 million
AMI meters by the time of the Conference, Shaun Cox the
MD of South East Water, Peter Alberts of VENCorp, Mike Peevey
the Californian Regulator and many, many more.
